Sensise Monitoring and Control Solutions GmbH
Mar 18, 2026
Light + Building 2026 was a special milestone for Sensise Monitoring and Control Solutions GmbH.
For the first time, Sensise presented itself to a broad professional audience with its own trade fair booth. The response to the solutions, discussions, and application approaches was consistently positive.
The central question was how to digitize buildings and infrastructure for the future – without costly renovations, downtime, or noticeable disruption to ongoing operations. This is precisely where Sensise comes in: with a holistic solution that integrates hardware, gateways, platform, installation, and support into a single, comprehensive system. Sensise's 8-in-1 approach covers all the essential components of a functioning IoT solution – from consulting to support.
Many existing buildings still operate without modern building management systems. This results in a lack of reliable data on building conditions, consumption, and operational deviations. Sensise creates transparency in this area, enabling data-driven building assessment and control. The goal is to reduce energy and operating costs, detect damage early, and reliably ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. These added values are firmly embedded in Sensise's solution promise: creating transparency, saving energy, increasing comfort, preventing damage, and ensuring legal compliance.
Solutions that can be quickly integrated into existing buildings were in particularly high demand at the trade fair. Sensise addresses this with a pre-configured, modular, and scalable system architecture. The platform is hosted in Germany, GDPR-compliant, and designed for reliable everyday operation. At the same time, the system remains open to diverse requirements and applications – from building monitoring to alarm systems, control systems, and energy optimization.
The technological approach also generated considerable interest. Sensise combines end devices, gateways, network and application servers, and the platform into a seamless solution. This avoids a patchwork of individual solutions and instead creates a coordinated setup that is ready for immediate use and adapts to real-world project requirements. Positioning itself as a comprehensive solution provider for the digitalization of buildings, properties, and infrastructure forms the basis of the trade fair presentation and further brand development.
Light + Building has not only marked a successful start for Sensise, but has also clearly demonstrated the high demand in the market for practical, turnkey IoT solutions.
